Capture anything on screen

Screenshots, long pages, text, colors, and screen recordings. By voice or by hand.

Screenshots and preview cards. Hold Fn and say “take a screenshot,” or pick a region, a window, or the full screen. Each capture leaves a preview card at the edge of the screen: copy it, pin it, or drag it into another app.

Scrolling capture. Start on a long page. Snipkit scrolls to the end and stitches it into one image. Pause, preview what you have so far, or finish early.

Text. Drag over text anywhere on screen to copy it, even text inside images or video. Each copy is kept in your library too.

Color. Point the loupe at any pixel on screen and click. Snipkit keeps the color with its hex and RGB values.

Screen recording. Record an area, a window, or the full screen, with microphone and camera if you want them. A countdown, a small control bar with pause and stop, then trim the ends.

Mark it up, by voice or by hand

Arrows, boxes, circles, lines, highlights, text, numbered steps, freehand, blur, hide, and crop.

By voice. Hold Fn, point with the mouse, and say “circle this and label it ‘swim out here’.” Snipkit draws the shapes where you pointed. You can also draw a rough lasso to mark an area.

By hand. Pick a tool and draw. New shapes remember the color, size, and thickness you last used for that kind.

By voice. Hold Fn and say “hide all personal info.” Snipkit reads the text in the screenshot, finds every email address and phone number, and covers each one with a solid bar.

Beautify. Put the screenshot on a background with padding, rounded corners, a shadow, and an optional window frame.

Edits stay editable. Reopen a saved screenshot and its shapes and text are still objects. Move them, change them, or delete them.

One library. Everything you capture lands here. Select an item to see where it came from, its size, and its note.

Notes, tags, and folders. Add a note and your own tags; Snipkit does not tag for you. Organize with folders and subfolders, import existing images and folders, and share with AirDrop, Messages, or Mail, or send a screenshot or text as a link.

Type by speaking, in any app

Dictate into any text field, rewrite a selection by saying what to change, paste anything you copied earlier, and get a reminder to rest your eyes.

Thanks for the proof.

The margins are wrong and the cover color is off. Fix it and send it again. The margins look a little tight and the cover color is slightly off from the sample. Could you adjust both and send a new proof when you get a chance?

Everything else looks good.

Command Mode. Select text, hold Shift+Fn, and say what to change, like “make this friendlier.” Snipkit rewrites the selection in place.

Clipboard history. Press ⌥⌘V to search everything you’ve copied, including images and files, and paste it back into the app you were in. Passwords are masked and expire quickly; password managers are skipped.

Breaks. Turn on eye and movement breaks, and when one is due a card counts it down with a soft chime, Snooze, and Done for today. Only time at the screen counts.
