A LITTLE ABOUT SNIPKIT

A small tool.
Your own space.

Snipkit is a little Mac app for the things worth showing and the things worth keeping. Capture something, make your point, and get back to what you were doing.

Your library lives on your Mac. Speech and text recognition run there too. Use local AI for annotations, or choose an optional hosted model.

A few little answers.

Does everything stay on my Mac?

Your library, speech recognition, and text recognition are local. With a local annotation model, your AI instructions and images stay on your Mac too. If you choose a hosted Cloudflare model, it receives your instructions and on-screen text; it may also receive screenshot reference images, depending on your settings. Audio stays local.

Does Snipkit track me?

Snipkit has no advertising or usage-tracking analytics. Your captures are stored in your local library.

Is there a subscription?

No subscriptions. We’re building Snipkit as a straightforward Mac app. Download and pricing details are coming soon.

Can I use it offline?

Capturing, manual annotation, and your library work offline. Speech and local AI work offline once their models are downloaded. Optional hosted AI needs an internet connection.

When can I download it?

Snipkit is still being shaped and polished. The Mac download is coming soon, right here.
