The rules for using Snipkit, buying a license, and sharing links, kept short.
Agreement.
Snipkit is made by Bald Cactus LLC (“we” or “us”). By downloading, using, or buying Snipkit, or by creating a share link, you agree to these terms. Our privacy page explains how we handle information.
Your license.
Buying Snipkit gets you a license key, not ownership of the software. With it, you may use Snipkit on up to two Macs that you own or control. A 1 year of updates license includes every version released during the year after purchase, and you can keep using those versions after the year ends. A lifetime updates license includes every future version. Neither renews or charges you again.
Please don’t share, sell, or publish your key, and don’t copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute Snipkit, except where the law allows it. We may deactivate a key that was refunded, disputed, obtained fraudulently, or used against these terms.
Trial and refunds.
Snipkit includes a free 14-day trial of every feature, so you can make sure it works for you before you buy. Because of that, refunds aren’t automatic.
If you think a refund is warranted, email support@getsnipkit.com and tell us why. Refunds are at our sole discretion, except where the law requires otherwise. If we refund a purchase, its license key stops working.
Your license key is delivered right after purchase. Where the law gives you a right to cancel a purchase of digital content, you agree that delivery starts immediately and that you lose that right once your key is delivered.
Your content.
Your captures are yours. We don’t claim any rights to them. When you create a share link, you allow us to store that screenshot or text and show it to anyone with the link until it expires or you revoke it. You are responsible for what you capture and share.
No warranty.
Snipkit and share links are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise that Snipkit will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will never lose data, so keep backups of anything important. Features may change over time.
Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Bald Cactus LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from Snipkit or these terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Snipkit in the 12 months before the claim, or US$25 if you paid nothing.
General.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Snipkit after a change means you accept it. Changes don’t affect purchases already made.
